The following list primarily includes resources in Be'er Sheva and the surrounding southern Israel area.  Please note that the information provided does not represent endorsement or advertisement.  It is intended to provide updated general information.   This list is by no measures complete. An overview of mental health in English.in Be'er Sheva.  Compiled and updated in 2018.

The homepage for the mental health center of Beersheva.  If you are having a mental health emergency, regardless of insurance, citizenship or health care provider, you may go there 24/7.  Their address is HaTzadik M’Yerushalayim 2. Their phone number is 08-6401401.​

Maslan is the Negev's crisis center for victims of violence and sexual violence.  They also provide a 24/7 professional support line, 08-6421313.  ​

In partnership with the social work department at Ben-Gurion University, there is a counseling center.  The center, which provides psychotherapy to women through a feminist lens and also provides high quality treatment to men and anyone seeking psychotherapy in Hebrew or English. Call 08-6477562 for information.

NATAL – the Israel Trauma Center for Victims of Terror and War, is an Israel Non-Profit organization that provides multidisciplinary treatment and support to direct and indirect victims of trauma due to terror and war in Israel. NATAL ‘s mission is to lead the way in the field of trauma, and to advance the resiliency of Israeli society through treatment, prevention, public awareness and research. Their services are available across Israel to Israeli citizens regardless of religion, ethnic background, color, age, gender or socio-economic status.  NATAL also provides a professional 24/7 helpline, 1-800-363-363. 

 

ERAN is Israel’s emotional first aid service and national suicide hotline.  Eran provides a confidential 24-hour hotline, seven days a week, 365 days a year.  From within Israel, Eran can be contacted hotline by calling 1201.  A support line via text and SMS is also available through Eran.  For service in English, press 10.
